Victoriouz Icon has been in the frontline of Nigeria’s entertainment scene for a while now. He has worked with most of Nigeria’s finest artists. He has produced many great tunes such as Sweet potato by Wizkid, B.A.N.S is the motto by Terry Tha Rapman, Omo mummy by Davido, Ifeoma by Faze, Tonight ft MI by Capital F.E.M.I, Make I tell you by Sinzu and Allie, Moni Go Low by Catiair among others.

He has also worked with Skales, Waje, Wonder boy among others.

Victoriouz Icon is  (Owner and founder of Sound Hill Music Gang) a prolific sound engineer who became famous at a rather young age (19 years). He hails from Delta state, born and raised in Jos, Plateau state Nigeria.

In a recent interview with The Info Nerds Media Crew, He revealed some interesting facts and details about himself.

Below is an excerpt from the interview:

Que: Can we know more about the man Victoriouz Icon?

Victoriouz Icon (real name Victor Angodi Egbekai) is a Music Producer, Song Writer, Musician and Enterpreneur.

Que: What was growing up like for you?

 I was born in Jos Plateau State, growing up was fun I had the best parents anyone could wish for. They provided any and everything I needed.

Que: When did you move into Lagos?

I moved to Lagos in January 2012

Que: Was it to pursue your career?

 I came to Lagos to pursue my dreams. I believe in myself so much I used night bus to come to Lagos and prayed to God to bless me and my family… and He has been blessing me ever since I made that move.

Que: How did music really start for you?

My dad sings, my mum sings, my sisters sing. It’s in my family, it’s in the blood, I decided to go the extra mile and study music production

Que: What are your musical influences?

My society, my mood, my environment

Que: What song do you think brought you to limelight??

Every song I’ve ever produced, but  I think Wizkid’s sweet potato is the biggest.

Que:Who are your favourite producers on the scene?

Sarz, Masterkraft, and Shizzi

Que: What’s favourite color?

 Black

Que: What’s your favourite travel destinations?

Atlanta, Paris and Morocco

Que: What song would we find on replay on your Playlist currently?

Que: As a young man in a competitive industry, how have you been able to hold your own?

 My sound is different, I dey my lane. I believe in my sound I just do me and let the world feel it, God has been blessing me.

Que: What’s your advice for other upcoming producers??

Believe in yourself, stay humble, pray and work hard. There is no shortcut to success

Que: Lastly, What message do you have for your fans??

Without my fans, my family, my friends there will be no Victoriouz Icon. Thanks for supporting me. I have a surprise package for ya’ll keep supporting thanks.
