R.I.P. to one of cinema’s most iconic villainous actor.
At the age of 93, the legendary Lord Of The Rings and Star Wars actor Christopher Lee has passed away.
He lived a long, healthy life full of all kinds of amazing things. After fighting in World War II Lee became aware of his deep, resonating voice and decided to become an actor. He had a relatively small start but once he was cast in The Curse Of Frankenstein in 1957, he began to find his way, later starring in the iconic role of Dracula and went on to play other iconic roles like Sherlock Holmes and even a Bond villain in The Man With The Golden Gun.
But he wasn’t done there. Over his career he got to work with all kinds of legendary filmmakers as well: Spielberg, Scorsese, Dante, Jackson, Lucas and Burton, all the while doing the big franchise films (Lord Of The Rings, Star Wars), the smaller indies and even voicework on Kingdom Hearts. Oh yeah, and he was also a Knight that was releasing heavy metal music albums.
There was no other actor with his kind of immediate presence and no other man at 90 releasing Christmas heavy metal albums between iconic cinema performances. R.I.P. Sir Christopher Lee.
