Eden Hazard has pledged his long-term allegiance to Chelsea and insisted: They are the club of my dreams.
Hazard’s performances have seen him linked with a potential move to Real Madrid, while money-bags French side Paris St Germain remain long-term admirers.
But with Chelsea and the Belgian midfielder showing just why Mourinho has made him one of the new Blues “untouchables”, Hazard dismissed the idea that he might want out of the Premier League.
Hazard said:
Chelsea was my first choice when I left Lille (in 2012).
Today I know it was the right decision for me. I am very happy at Chelsea.
I made the choice to join Chelsea because I knew I was going to play.
This is my third year here. I don’t know if I’m the main asset of the team, but I can take pleasure by playing in this team.
Hazard was asked about comments attributed to him in which he had suggested he would only consider leaving Chelsea for the Real Madrid.
Instead, though, the 23-year-old shot back:
I never said that. I did not think so.
Is there a club that makes me dream? Yes, Chelsea. They are the only club that makes me dream.
We have played against all the big teams and we are in first place. I hope that we can stay there.
