Amid Economy Meltdown, African China Turns Hairdresser

African China was actually being thoughtful when he released his hit single, Mr President way back. Almost 10 yeas later, the hardship he sang about has “led” him to a new career.

The singer has now turned to other means of making money and he is now the proprietor of a hair salon known as Chyna Town Unisex Beauty Salon, which is located at Festac, Lagos.

African China’s musical career has been troubled since he was involved in a rape scandal in the UK almost a decade ago. The Orile born artiste is ostensibly no longer the musical force he used to be.
