#BBNaija 2018 Day 12: Between Teddy A and BamBam
Since the emergence of the show this year, Teddy A and BamBam are both well liked and adorable to look at but all these didn’t stop them from having their differences.
It is obvious that they both love each other’s company and share a general good vibration, so why have they had such trialss and tribulations befalling their pairing?
It appears that the trouble between this wonderful pair started during the pairing. It most likely begun the moment BamBam chose Teddy A as her partner in the #bbnaija house as sparks were bound to fly around between the two.
However, that hasnt been the case as the two have had to suffer through one rocky patch after another. Last week Saturday during the #bbnaija party, instead of getting close on the dance floor, BamBam could be seen on her own outside grooving, while Teddy A got in the mix inside.
More so, later that night, after the drinks stopped flowing and K.Brule was done with his wild antics, the duo had an argument in bed. BamBam turned her back on Teddy A while he proceeded to tell her that “what happened in the #bbnaija House, was just what happened in the House”, meaning that he was basically trying to tell her nothing was real.
Over the last week BamBam has done her best to act aloof toward the situation but after yesterday’s humility Task in the #bbnaija house, all the truth came to light.
The simple truth is that Teddy A has been open about the fact that he has a girlfriend outside the #bbnaija House, and he has repeatedly made it known to BamBam that he is not looking to catch any feelings in the House. He also said that he is looking to have fun and play the game to the best of his ability.
BamBam has tried with all her might to accept this harsh reality but her struggle lies in the fact that Teddy A sometimes acts like he wants more.
His charming, affectionate moments clearly melts her heart and the big question is ,why does Teddy A do it? It appears some level of emotions are involved and as much as he just wants to have fun, it’s evident that BamBam is interested in more than just a strategic alliance.
It appears that the reason for the rocky patch both appear to be passing through is as a result of unmet needs from both parties and a lack of communication to try and solve them.
The humility activity done on day 11 on the prompting of biggie apparently brought about many of the #bbnaija Housemates’ true feelings towards each other but few moments were as tense as the ones centred around BamTeddy.
Anto addressed Teddy A’s behaviour head on, basically outing him for his mixed signals. Leo also came for him and said that he didn’t like how “cold” he could be towards his partner and even what they both had to say to each other during the activity was not the most unifying of events.
This was some type of catalyst for BamBam who could be seen at multiple moments today, voicing her frustrations to her fellow #bbnaija Housemates.
While we wait to see if BamBam will cave in eventually and give in to Teddy A’s temporary charms, it also seems like they will part ways in a bitter dispute. Hopefully, any resulting turmoil will be resolved amicably.
