Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Tobi Bakre made a shocking revelation while discussing with the rest of the #bbnaija housemates that he has became sexually active at the age of 12 and contracted the gonorrhea bacterium at the age of 17.

He revealed this during a task where he and other #bbnaija housemates addressed sexually transmitted diseases and why it was important to engage in safe s3x.

While making this shocking revelations, Tobi added that he started having sex at the age of 12 and after a while, he stopped having safe s3x, as he was under the assumption that he was clean and safe from any type of sexually transmitted infections.

However, he made it known that during his second year in the University, one of his sexual partners, called him and told him he needed to run a test as he had infected her with some form of disease. It was only at the point that he discovered that he had gonorrhoea.

The two time head of the #bbnaija house stated that he was ashamed to let his family doctor know and resorted to quack doctors. This singular act of his, he said worsened his situation, almost to a catastrophic level.

He however made it known that he eventually opened up to his family doctor and got proper treatment for months before getting cured off it. He says since then, he has always ensured he uses protection during sex.

The other #bbnaija housates were shocked at this discovery but they nonetheless agreed on the importance of safe sex, saying it can not only prevent getting infected with untoward disease, but can also help reduce the transmission of same.
