Frank Ocean’s Dad Litigates Him Over Homophobic Claims

Fank Ocean’s dad, Calvin Cooksey has dragged him to court over claims that he is homophobic.
This lawsuit came as a sequel to a Tumblr post Frank wrote last summer stating his father used homophobic words when he was a boy.

Frank recalled, “I was 6 years old when I heard my dad call our transgender waitress f****t as he dragged me out of a neighborhood diner saying we wouldn’t be served because she was dirty.”

Calvin wants his son to pay $14.5 million in damages because the post damaged his financial opportunities in film and music. He reportedly also sued Russell Simmons in 2014 for $142 million for claiming he was a dead beat father.

Calvin calls the story BS and says it’s damaged his financial opportunities in film and music.
