Jussie Smollet Not Leaving The Empire Tv Show
Rumour has it that Jussie Smollet aka Jamal Lyon might have bade his goodbyes with TeamEmpire after tweeting about his exit, Thursday, (May, 12) but that is all seems to be a misunderstanding.
The tweet read, “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time w/ @EmpireFOX. I love you all. Truth. Time 2 make a record & some movies. #Empire“.
According to MediaTakeOut, a source disclosed that Jussie was dropped from the show because he got greedy with his previous contract negotiations and wanted to earn as much as his TV parents Taraji P Henson and Terrence Howard.
The source said, “Terrence Howard and Taraji Henson are the stars of the show, and they are going to be paid as stars. But the rest aren’t going to make huge sums from the show.”
Jussie wasn’t asking for way too much money — just a nice raise. But the people at FOX were like no, there was no money left in the budget.”
Well, Jussie Smollet isn’t going anywhere as he has promised to see you – and me – in the Empire Season 3 coming in September.
