Arsenal play-maker, Mesut Ozil looked dejected on Wednesday night as he was taken off by manager, Unai Emery, during the Gunners’ 4-1 defeat to Chelsea in the Europa League final.
Ozil was taken off by Emery with 15 minutes left to the end of the match when the score was 4-1 and was replaced by youngster, Joe Willock.
The 30-year-old German walked slowly off the pitch, showing no urgency to get off the field so that the game could restart.
The ex-Germany international was seen mouthing off on the bench behind Emery’s bench.
After the game, the former Real Madrid star stayed on the bench, failing to join his team-mates on the pitch as he watched Chelsea players ran wild celebrating their Europa League final victory over their London rivals.
