The legendary N.W.A. rapper, Ice Cube, on Friday, November 9, has dropped a controversial song called ‘Arrest the President’ – which appears to be a direct shot at the US President Donald Trump.
This new single is the first material to arrive from his upcoming new album ‘Everythang’s Corrupt’, which is released on December 7 via Interscope.
While Ice Cube doesn’t explicitly mention Trump by name, it touches on some of his administration’s scandals including its controversial immigration policies and the probe into collusion with Russia.
“Arrest the president, you got the evidence/That n***a is Russian intelligence/When it rains it pours,” Ice Cube raps.
“Did you know the new white was orange? Boy, you’re showing your horns,” the rapper continues, referring to Trump’s oft-mocked skin tone.
“Let’s meet at the White House/Run in and turn the lights out/ They treat it like a trap house / These motherfuckers never take the trash out.”
The West Coast rapper had teased the new track on Tuesday as American voters cast ballots in the heated midterm election seen as a test of Trump’s presidency.

“Cuffs are ready,” the rapper tweeted, posting a video clip previewing the song. “Get out there and vote.”

Ice Cube, 49, frequently infuses his raps with blunt sociopolitical commentary.
Bear in mind that Rihanna also condemned Mr Trump after finding out her hit “Don’t Stop the Music” was used at one of his rallies.
Her backlash also follows musician Pharrell Williams sending Mr Trump a legal challenge over his use of the song Happy on the day of the Pittsburgh synagogue massacre.
