Military Thwarted Boko Haram’s Effort to Take Over Their Base

A numerous number of Boko Haram terrorists attacked a military basein Kamuya area in Borno state. In the report:

The terrorists were said to have stormed the military base from three different directions at 5.30pm on Wednesday night. The terrorist who initially outnumbered officers present at the camp were in for it when reinforcement from Buni Yadi arrived.

After hours of intense fighting and gunfire, the gallant soldiers did not only reclaim their base but also killed large numbers of terrorists forcing others to flee.Three soldiers were said to have been killed while some equipments and soldiers are missing.

This attack came days after suspected Boko Haram members stormed Ndagu Village of Askira-Uba Local Government Area, set it ablaze,  killed three people and abducted seven women.
