Nemesis: Man Joins Cult To Have Access To Girls
A suspected member of the dreaded Awawa Confraternity, cult group that has been causing havoc in the Agege area of Lagos State, identified as Lukmon, has told the state police command after his arrest that the lure to have free access to girls who are members of the group, promised him by the cult hierarchy, led him into joining it.
“I decided to join the Awawa Confraternity because I wanted to be very powerful among my peers.
They promised me that I would have free access to girls who are members of the group. One thing is certain, once you join the group, it would be very difficult to leave.
And you must also be part of their operations anytime they set out. We loot, rape and rob innocent members of public every time we go for operations. We don’t fear anybody, even police, because we are always in hundreds.”
It was gathered that the operatives of the RRS, led by ASP Timothy Ojetunde, had arrested the hoodlums around the Agidingbi, Agege and Ogba areas of the state on Saturday, February 27, after receiving distress calls that the cultists were snatching belongings and beating people.
The suspects allegedly attacked the policemen with bottles and stones when they attempted to arrest them
