“AgP Osinbajo meeting with President Buhari in London today, and returning to Abuja immediately afterwards,” Akande had tweeted.
A Reuters reporter said Osinbajo arrive at Abuja House, the Nigerian High Commission, or embassy, in London, late on Tuesday. He left an hour later without comment.
Akande then subsequently tweeted that his principal will soon brief the nation on the outcome of his meeting with President Buhari in London.
He described the meeting as ““a very good meeting.”
He said: ““We will soon share more information about Acting President’s London meeting with President Buhari. It was a very good meeting.
