Police Arrests Nigerian Yahoo Boys in Thailand
Nemesis caught up with four Nigerian and one Cameroonian fraudster as Thais police nabbed them and charged them with operating an online romance scam to deceive Thai women into giving them money. 
Pol Lt-General Sutthipong Wongpin, Immigration Police Bureau commissioner, while confirming the arrest said that the boys were arrested after police received complaints from several Thai women who reported that foreigners they knew had been unlawfully detained at airports on their way to visit them.
Upon investigating the reports, it was discovered that there were no such foreigners and instead the men who they found were deceiving the women.
Further investigation discovered the location of the alleged gangsters and got the arrested. .
Several of the men according to Sutthipong , tried fleeing by using ropes to lower themselves from the balcony of the apartment building. The suspects had prepared ropes in case police raided their room, Sutthipong said. .
Five computers and many mobile phones, were seized during the raid.
The four accused Nigerians were identified as Ikemefuna Oliver Ibekwe, 26, Ogochukwu Iduh, 28, Osaratin Irabor, 36, and Vitus Nwokemodo, 31 and the Cameroonian as John Nji.
