Paris Saint Germain Preparing Loan Bid For Liverpool’s Striker
Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be reading a move for Liverpool’s forward Daniel Sturridge on a initial loan deal, the Sunday Mirror reports.
The loan move will come as the England international continues to struggle with injuries and form with the Reds open to offers at the end of the season.
A lack of form and fitness has seen the striker feature only 14 times in the Premier League this season, and there is a feeling in Anfield that the 27-year-old doesn’t fit into manager Jurgen Klopp’s long-term plans.
The reports claims that PSG would prefer to take Sturridge on loan initially, with a view to making the deal permanent should the England international regain his scoring touch.
Liverpool, however, think they can sell Sturridge for £30 million and may hold out on PSG if some other club potentially West Ham can come up the cash in the summer.
