Obama ‘The Affordable Care Act is here to Stay’
President Obama of the United states of America ‘this is health care in America’, he added comparing the law to social security and other major reforms, ‘’ The law is working’. More than six million poor and middle class Americans in the southern and mostly conservative states continue to receive financial assistance that helps them afford healthcare, avoiding what the administration called a “death spiral” of higher costs and markets collapses around the country. The justice ruled 6-3 that the federal government can continue to provide subsidies to Americans who live in states-run market places, a major victory for the Obama administration. Chief Justice John Roberts broke with his conservative peers for the second time in three years to defend the healthcare law. Roberts wrote in the majority opinion that in this case, context mattered more than the “inartful drafting” of an ambiguous line-a line on which the case turned. “Congress passed the Affordable Care Act to improve health insurance markets, not to destroy them,” he wrote.
