Reason Why Davido Is Superior To Other Artists

David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido popped into the Nigerian music scene about 4 years ago when he dropped his first single “back when” featuring Naeto C, “back when” was a massive debut song, many thought he was a one hit wonder.

Davido went to the drawing board and came up with “Dami duro” one of his biggest songs, if you really understand music you will agree with me when I say his song “all of you” is one song Davido used to send warning shots, he made people understand that he wasn’t in the music industry to play, the song made him a threat to other artists.

Just when we thought we have seen “all of him” he came out with other bangers “skelewu” and “Aye”.

“Aye” was a song that cut through most age brackets, one of the lecturers in my department used the song as his Ring tone. This song is a proof that Davido writes good lyrics, this song will continue to be heard for a very long time.

“Skelewu” is another massive tune from him, arguably one of his biggest tracks, all Davido’s songs are hits, talk about “Gobe”, “Gbon Gbon”, “Ekuro”, “Overseas” and “Feel Alright” featuring Ice Prince most recently he dropped another hit track “Fans Mi” featuring American Rapper Meek Mill, he just keeps on going.

At just 22 Davido has won a lot of awards from Channel O awards to the Headies, BET, MOBO awards, Mtv Africa Music Awards just to mention a few out of numerous awards.
