Only Nineteen days subsequent to being captured for abusing his probation identified with 2016 guns charges, Soulja Boy has quite recently been given a critical jail sentence.
According to a report TMZ published on Tuesday (April 30), a judge sentenced the 28-year-old rapper to 240 days in jail as well as 265 days’worth of community service. He’s reportedly been granted 40 days of time served behind bars.
The legal punishment Soulja currently faces comes after a judge determined that he violated his probation terms related to a 2016 case where police found a weapon in his home. After authorities found ammunition in Soulja’s California home this past February, Soulja was arrested for probation violation on March 15. He was released the same day.
After an April 19 hearing for the case, a judge established that Soulja had misrepresented proof intended to show that he’d finished his required network administration for his 2016 case. He’s been held in prison without bond since.
