Nigeria Rises In New FIFA Ranking

Despite Nigeria’s early exit from the African Nations Championship (CHAN) ongoing in Rwanda, they have moved up three spot in the FIFA world ranking released on Thursday February 5th 2016.

The super eagles of Nigeria are now 63rd in the world and 12th in Africa.

FIFA had earlier revealed in 2015 that the performance of national teams home based players will reflect in the FIFA world rankings.

Belgium, Argentina and Spain occupies the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
